You may not have a legal obligation to do this of course, but if any of the following applies to you, carbon accounting properly can be increasingly important. You don't have to, but like financial accounting you may need their skills and support to do this to an audit ready standard. Often they'll have the data you need and can ensure it's complete, reducing the risks of mistakes and accusations of greenwashing.
